Trump’s Niece Mary Trump Says President Should ‘Resign’: ‘He’s Utterly Incapable Of Leading This Country’

President Donald Trump‘s niece Mary Trump has called for the president to resign in her first interview about her tell-it-all book.

In an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Tuesday, Mary Trump addressed her expose memoir about the president for the first time. She also talked about her uncle’s time in the office and commented on his job as the president.

Stephanopoulos asked Mary what she would say if she were to visit him in the Oval Office today.

“Resign,” she said.

“I just remember thinking, ‘He seems tired. He seems like this is not what he signed up for,'” she added, talking about visiting her uncle in 2017 after his inauguration as a president.

When asked by Stephanopoulos what is the single most important thing the country needs to know about her uncle, Trump proceeded to criticize her uncle’s job as the president of the country.

“He’s utterly incapable of leading this country – and it’s dangerous to allow him to do so,” she said.

Trump’s book Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man paints an image of the president in an unflattering light. It was released on Tuesday despite numerous efforts of Robert Trump, Donald Trump’s younger brother, to block the book’s publication through lawsuits, in which he cited a non-disclosure agreement. On Monday, the New York State Supreme Court lifted a temporary restraining order and ruled that Mary Trump could promote the memoir.
