Trump’s DNI Tulsi Gabbard Posts ‘Strange’ Video Warning Of ‘Nuclear Holocaust’; ‘Needs To Change Her Meds,’ GOP Senator Advises

Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), posted a video to X, a social media platform, on Tuesday, warning of a “nuclear holocaust.”

Gabbard also reprimanded “warmongers” for being responsible for potential worldwide nuclear annihilation. She did not specify or describe who these “warmongers” are.

In the video, Gabbard talks about her recent trip to Hiroshima, Japan, to learn about the effects of the nuclear bomb dropped on the city during WWII in 1945. Gabbard follows her description of her trip with a warning that “a single nuclear weapon today could kill millions in just minutes.”

Gabbard proceeded to state that powerful individuals do not care as much about a potential nuclear war due to their access to “nuclear shelters” if a nuclear bomb were to be detonated.

“It’s up to us, the people, to speak up and demand an end to this madness. We must reject this path to nuclear war and work toward a world where no one has to live in fear of a nuclear holocaust,” Gabbard stated.

Alexa Henning, Gabbard’s deputy chief of staff, noted that Gabbard’s comments on nuclear warfare are the same as those of President Donald Trump. Henning stated that Trump has continuously advocated for peace and wants to reduce any potential nuclear warfare events. “DNI Gabbard supports President Trump’s clearly stated objectives of bringing about lasting peace and stability and preventing war,” he said.

Gabbard visited Japan in March as the DNI. She did not visit Hiroshima at the time.

Some Republican legislators who supported Gabbard’s appointment as DNI were confused about her comments. Sen. John Kennedy (R-Louisiana) said that Gabbard “obviously needs to change her meds.” Susan Collins (R-Maine) stated that Gabbard’s video was “very strange.”

In 2023, Gabbard accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, former President Joe Biden and NATO of dragging the U.S. into potential “nuclear annihilation” and a holocaust.
