Trump’s Dark Inauguration Speech Calls For Reversing Biden’s Policies, Mass Deportations & Only 2 Genders

On Monday, President Donald Trump delivered a grim inaugural address centered on themes of national unity and the restoration of American pride.

Former presidents and vice presidents, family members and wealthy tech leaders, including Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg were among the notable attendees. Trump began his speech by calling for the dawn of a “golden age of America,” pledging that under his leadership, the United States would “flourish and be respected again all over the world.”

Trump quickly turned to the controversial issue of immigration, criticizing what he described as a history of lax law enforcement that provided sanctuary to dangerous criminals who entered the country illegally. He condemned previous administrations for allegedly failing to defend U.S. borders and announced plans to declare a national emergency at the southern border. His proposed measures included deporting millions of undocumented immigrants, deploying troops to secure the Mexico-United States border and designating cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

Trump announced plans to declare a national energy emergency, citing overspending and high energy prices as the primary causes of inflation. He announced plans to expand oil and gas drilling projects, referring to the nation’s untapped natural resources as “liquid gold” that would restore American wealth.

Additionally, he vowed to terminate the Green New Deal and revoke the electric vehicle (EV) mandate. Neither of these policies has been formally enacted, but Trump framed these actions as efforts to undo prior sustainability efforts and prioritize traditional energy sources. The Green New Deal, a proposed framework for addressing climate change, focused on transitioning to renewable energy and creating green jobs. The EV mandate referenced Biden’s initiatives to promote EVs through tax incentives and stipends, though it did not include a ban on gas-powered vehicles as Trump implied.

Trump later addressed gender identity, declaring it “the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female,” clearly underscoring the Republican Party’s stance against transgender rights.

Trump announced plans for two significant name changes. He intends to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and restore the name of North America’s highest mountain peak, Denali, to Mount McKinley. Trump credited President William McKinley, for whom the peak was originally named, as a leader who enriched the nation through tariffs and talent. Former President Barack Obama renamed the mountain Denali in 2017, honoring the Native American name, which means “the great one.”

Trump concluded his speech by reaffirming his vision of a “free, sovereign, and independent nation,” calling for a return to American greatness under his administration.
