Former President Donald Trump addressed years-old allegations that he hired Russian prostitutes at a private Republican party meeting several days ago. “I’m not into golden showers,” the ex-president said.
Trump went on to talk about his wife, former First Lady Melania Trump. “You know the great thing, our great first lady – ‘That one,’ she said, ‘I don’t believe that one,'” referring to a claim that Trump watched Russian prostitutes urinate in a hotel room during a 2013 trip to Moscow.
During his speech, Trump went on to boast about his good relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Trump also took credit for saving a “dying” Republican party, despite losing both the House of Representatives and the Senate to Democrats during his presidency. “It was a dying party, I’ll be honest,” he said. “Now we have a very lively party.”
