Former President Donald Trump, who has been flirting in the media with making another White House bid in 2024, is scheduled to hold rallies in the key swing states of Iowa and Georgia in the next few weeks.

On Tuesday, Trump’s Save America PAC has confirmed that he will appear in Perry, Georgia, on September 25 and then in Des Moines, Iowa, on October 9.

In July, Trump told Sean Hannity that he made his mind about whether to run for President in 2024 but refused to say what decision he had made.

“The country needs it. We have to take care of this country. I don’t want to, is this fun? Fighting constantly? Fighting always? I mean, the country, what we have done is so important,” Trump said in July, hinting at another bid in 2024.

The former president also seems to have eliminated out former Vice President Mike Pence as his running mate if he were to run again in 2024. During an interview in May, Trump talked about the possibility of choosing Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Florida) as his vice president in 2024.

“He’s a friend of mine. I endorsed Ron, and after I endorsed him, he took off like a rocket ship. He’s done a great job as governor,” Trump said on Fox Business back in May. “A lot of people like that — you know, I’m just saying what I read and what you read — they love that ticket,” Trump then said. “But certainly, Ron would be considered. He’s a great guy.”

DeSantis has been widely rumored to be running for president himself in 2024. On Tuesday, however, he refused to comment on whether he would make his own bid. “All the speculation about me is purely manufactured,” said DeSantis.
