Trump's Doral Golf Resort in Florida
After President Donald Trump told reported at last weekends G7 summit that next year’s will take place at his Doral Hotel in Miami, Twitter users uncovered reports that Trump’s hotel was settling a lawsuit over bed bugs. Trump took to Twitter Tuesday to quickly defend his hotel.
The president tweeted, “No bedbugs at Doral. The Radical Left Democrats, upon hearing that the perfectly located (for the next G-7) Doral National MIAMI was under consideration for the next G-7, spread that false and nasty rumor. Not nice!”
Trump had said that his hotel was the perfect place for the next summit because of its closeness to the airport.

According to the Miami Herald, in 2016, Eric Linder sued the resort claim that his body was “devoured by voracious bed bugs.” A picture of Linder’s body was published when they reported on the settlement in 2017.
In a five year period, inspectors marked over 500 health code violations at Trump’s Doral Hotel, many of which were due to insects in the kitchen area. Inspectors had recommended that the kitchen close temporarily to fix the issue.
