Trump Says Metrics For Knowing When To Reopen U.S. Are All In His Head

President Donald Trump said Friday that the “metrics” he would use in deciding when to reopen the country were all in his head, but noted he would base it “on a lot of different opinions.

In response to a reporter asking what metrics he would use to make the decision of reopening the country, Trump pointed at his head saying, “the metrics right here, that’s my metrics.”

The president added, “I can listen to 35 people. At the end, I’ve got to make a decision. And I didn’t think of it until yesterday, I said, you know, this is a big decision.”

“But I want to be guided, I’m going to be guided by them, I’m going to be guided by our vice president, I’m going to make a decision based on a lot of different opinions,” he said. “Some will maybe disagree, and some, I’d love to see it where they don’t disagree.”
