Former President Donald Trump said again that he will not participate in another debate with Vice President Kamala Harris before November’s presidential election shortly after the conclusion of the vice presidential debate on Tuesday night.
In a Truth Social post, Trump said Harris “just put out a request for another Debate” because Tim Walz “lost so badly tonight.”
It’s Trump’s second statement on the matter in recent weeks.
“We just don’t think that there’s any need for it,“ Trump said previously. “THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!“

“When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, ‘I WANT A REMATCH.‘ Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate,“ Trump wrote in another post on Truth Social.
Several news outlets declared Harris the winner of the first debate. The CNN poll showed that 57 percent of debate watchers believed Harris performed better than 34 percent who thought Trump had.
Trump further attacked Harris on Truth Social, claiming that Harris has “destroyed“ the country and is to blame for “millions of criminals and mentally deranged people pouring into the USA.”
He also criticized David Muir and Linsey Davis, the moderators of the Harris-Trump debate, stating that the moderators “were a disgrace to American journalism.“
During Trump’s first rally after the debate in Tuscon, Arizona, he continued to attack both the moderators and Harris on issues and defended his performance.
Harris continues to call for another debate, telling voters at a campaign stop in North Carolina, “We owe it to the voters to have another debate.”
