A recently released video from the New York Attorney General’s Office shows former President Donald Trump last August pleading the Fifth Amendment over 400 times during a deposition.
This deposition is related to the Attorney General’s civil fraud investigation against the former president and his company.
In his statement, Trump claims, “anyone in my position not taking the Fifth Amendment would be a fool, an absolute fool.”
He then refused to answer any questions, instead repeatedly stating “same answer.”
