Trump Headlines $500,000 Per Couple Fundraiser At Wendy’s Chairman Nelson Peltz’s Home
President Donald Trump headlined the most expensive fundraiser of his presidency on Saturday night at billionaire Nelson Peltz’s home in Palm Beach, Florida.
About 40 attendees, spending about half-million dollars per couple, was expected to raise more than $10 million for Trump Victory, a joint fundraiser dedicated to Trump’s reelection campaign, the Republican National Committee and 11 state Republican parties.
Attendees included Marvel Entertainment’s Ike Perlmutter and real estate billionaire Pepe Fanjul. RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and RNC finance chair Todd Ricketts also attended.
Peltz, who is estimated to have a net worth of over $1.5 billion, is the non-executive chairman of the Wendy’s Company and has previously donated to Trump and other Republican causes.

This fundraiser comes after the Trump campaign and RNC reported they’ve made $60 million from fundraising last month, not including the $463 million raised in 2019 and the $25 million raised in an telethon last week. The boost in donations, many believe, came after Trump’s impeachment.
Blair Brandt, a Palm Beach resident and Republican fundraiser, said, “If anything, I would say it’s been very competitive to get the president to do private fundraisers around town. There was a long line out the door and around the corner of high-dollar folks who really wanted to host an event on the island. So when you’re raising $10 million in one night after a $25 million telethon this time last week, that’s incredible momentum and support from the local community.”
