Trump Has Secretly Been Encouraging Republican Lawmakers To Impeach Biden

Donald Trump has secretly been encouraging Republican lawmakers to continue the push for President Joe Biden’s impeachment.

Last summer, Trump was seen at his New Jersey golf club with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia), a leader of the Biden impeachment forces.

The two were taking a moment to give each other the latest rundown on the topic of Republicans’ push for Biden’s impeachment. Greene told reporters after, “I did brief him on the strategy that I want to see laid out with impeachment.”

Greene’s and Trump’s meeting occurred two days before former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced his choice to formally open an impeachment inquiry against Biden.

Trump has been keeping close tabs on the Republicans over the past months and has been speaking over the phone with the members about his pet issue.

Greene said she told Trump that she wanted the impeachment to be “long and excruciatingly painful for Joe Biden.” She also mentioned her end goal was to have a “long list of names,” referring to the individuals who are allegedly involved in the “Biden family crimes.”

Greene is confident that Trump will reclaim the White House in 2024. She expressed her desire “to go after every single one of [Trump’s enemies] and use the Department of Justice to prosecute them.”

Steven Cheung, Trump’s communications director, said in a statement, “They persecuted us and yet Joe Biden is a stone-cold criminal, caught dead to right, and nothing happens to him. Forget the family. Nothing happens to him.”

Last July, Trump said, “So, they impeach me over a ‘perfect’ phone call, and they don’t impeach Biden for being the most corrupt president in the history of the United States???”
