Trump Fires Back At ‘Pathetic’ Former A.G. Barr Over Defense Of Mar-a-Lago Raid
Former President Donald Trump hit back at former Attorney Gen. William Barr following Barr’s Friday acknowledgment that Trump was wrong to take classified documents to Mar-a-Lago.
“Bill Barr had ‘no guts,’ and got ‘no glory,’” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, his media platform. “He was a weak and pathetic RINO, who was so afraid of being Impeached that he became a captive to the Radical Left Democrats.”
On an appearance on Fox News, Barr defended the Justice Department’s decision to utilize the FBI and execute a search warrant on Trump’s Palm Beach Florida estate. He added that he couldn’t think of a “legitimate” reason that would allow Trump to take and store secret government documents.
“Barr never fought the way he should have for Election Integrity, and so much else,” Trump added. “He started off OK as A.G., but faded fast – Didn’t have courage or stamina. People like that will never Make America Great Again!”

The former attorney general, who was at one time considered a fierce Trump ally, has more readily spoken out against Trump recently.
“I, frankly, am skeptical of this claim that ‘I declassified everything,’” Barr continued. “I think it’s highly improbable … if in fact he sort of stood over scores of boxes, not really knowing what was in them, and said, ‘I hereby declassify everything in here.’ That would be such an abuse, and — that shows such recklessness that it’s almost worse than taking the documents.”
Barr also dismissed Trump’s call for a special master to independently review the documents found at Mar-a-Lago, calling the request a “waste of time.”
