Former President Donald Trump has eagerly challenged President Joe Biden to a debate.
“We should debate for the good of the country,” Trump said in an interview on Dan Bongino’s show.
Biden was prompted for a response while getting boba tea in Las Vegas. He dismissed Trump’s calls for a debate. “He’s got nothing else to do,” Biden said of the former president.
Trump and Biden have each chosen not to take part in their primary debates. Although Trump is eager to challenge Biden to debate with him, he has ignored each of Republican challenger Nikki Haley’s calls to debate.

Biden declined to participate in interviews held by Super Bowl broadcasting networks for the second year in a row. Trump mentioned this during his interview. “He can’t do it because he can’t talk,” he said, referencing the president’s stutter.
