Donald Trump‘s campaign justified the former president’s remarks in which he called his political opponents “vermin,” stating that those who criticized his use of words were overly sensitive.
Spokesman Steven Cheung added that these opponents would suffer greatly if Trump were to secure victory in the upcoming 2024 election.
Some historians have likened Trump’s use of degrading language, such as his statement that undocumented immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country,” to the rhetoric employed by fascist dictators like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.
The Trump campaign spokesman dismissed these comparisons as absurd, suggesting that those making such assertions are “snowflakes” and desperate to find faults due to their strong aversion toward Trump.

During his Veterans Day speech in New Hampshire, Trump said he would fight “communists, Marxists, fascists and radical-left thugs,” claiming that these groups are actively working to undermine and dismantle the United States.
He then shared the same statement on the social media platform Truth Social, using the term “vermin,” which Hitler and Mussolini used to degrade Jews and their adversaries.
Trump further stated that the danger posed by external forces is considerably less significant compared to the threat from within.
As Trump faces the potential of being convicted in four separate criminal cases, his rhetoric has escalated to include aggressive elements such as advocating for the execution of a military leader and encouraging law enforcement to shoot individuals suspected of shoplifting.
