President Donald Trump reminded Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Monday that President Barack Obama defeated him in the 2012 presidential election after Romney slammed him for firing the State Department’s Inspector General Steve Linick.
Last Friday, Trump fired Linick, whom Obama appointed.
On Saturday, the senator decried Trump’s decision to remove inspectors generals who were investigating his administration.
