Trump Calls Bloomberg A ‘Loser,’ Bloomberg Calls President A ‘Carnival Barking Clown’

President Donald Trump assailed Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg on Twitter Thursday.

Trump called Bloomberg a “loser,” who reminds him of the former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

Bush ran against Trump in the 2016 GOP presidential primary. He was frequently the target of Trump’s social media ribs.

Trump’s recent infatuation with Bloomberg stems from the former New York City mayor’s efforts to thwart the president’s reelection.

Bloomberg, a self-made billionaire who launched a late presidential bid in November, has spent hundreds of millions of dollars of his personal wealth on advertisements to make up for the lost time.

He plans to focus on the highly anticipated March 3 Super Tuesday states. But Bloomberg is sitting out of the first four nomination contests of the Democratic nominating season.

A lot of Bloomberg’s ads have targeted Trump, stating that he is unfit for office.

For weeks, Trump has been ripping Bloomberg over Twitter.

Trump continued to deride him Thursday morning with a series of blasts, which Bloomberg hit back at Trump in less than 20 minutes. Bloomberg took stabs at Trump’s reputation calling him “a carnival barking clown.”

Trump said Wednesday that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) is the Democratic front-runner who is polling ahead of Bloomberg “because Sanders has real followers.”
