A statue of former President Donald Trump at Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in San Antonio, Texas was removed from the museum after excessive vandalism. Reports say that the statue was subject to repeated scratching and punching.
“When it’s a highly political figure, attacks can be a problem,” regional manager for Ripley Entertainment, which owns the wax museum, Clay Stewart, told San Antonio Express News.
According to Stewart, the scratched in the Trump statue were “deep.” He also said that the museum is expecting a wax figure of President Joe Biden to be delivered soon. “Wax figures are rotated all the time,” said Stewart.
“We’ve always had trouble with the presidential section because no matter what president it was — Bush, Obama or Trump — they’ve all had people beat them,” Stewart added. “The ears were torn off Obama six times. And then Bush’s nose was punched in.”
