Stormy Daniels Took A Lie Detector Test – And Passed!

A lawyer for Stephanie Clifford, better known as Stormy Daniels, says he paid $25,000 for a tape of a polygraph test his client had taken back in 2011 along with the related documentation to further corroborate Clifford’s version of an alleged affair she has claimed to have had with Donald Trump before he was elected president.

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer representing Clifford as she challenges Trump and his lawyer Michael Cohen, asserts that a non-disclosure agreement that she had signed but was not signed by the president, is void. Avenatti bought the tape and subsequent documentation as others in and outside the media tried to get their hands on it as well.

“The reason why we did that was because we caught wind of the fact that there were a number of third parties, some in the mainstream media, that were attempting to purchase the video and the file for use in what I would describe as nefarious activities,” Avenatti said. “We purchased the materials and the video to make sure that they were maintained from an evidentiary standpoint for potential use in the case.”

The video stems from an interview Clifford had given to InTouch magazine about an affair she claimed to have with Trump in 2006. The publication, being extra careful, decided the best course of action was to subject Clifford to a polygraph test before putting anything down in print. Clifford was said to have passed the test but the story never came to fruition. The magazine has maintained however, since the start of the Clifford/Trump saga that Clifford had passed a polygraph.

The White House and the president’s attorney have denied that the president and Clifford had ever been involved in a sexual relationship. The president’s own lawyer had facilitated the non-disclosure agreement Clifford in October of 2016 where Cohen also paid her $130,000 in hush money. Both the president and his lawyer are now suing Clifford in federal court in an effort to move the matter into private arbitration.

The report was prepared by Western Security Consultants, a Las Vegas based company, and says that the purpose of the examination was to “determine if Ms. Clifford had vaginal intercourse with Donald Trump in July 2006.”
