Stormy Daniels Files Lawsuit, Says Ex Lawyer Keith Davidson Was Trump ‘Puppet’ Who Colluded With Michael Cohen

Stormy Daniels filed a new lawsuit on Wednesday, this time alleging her former lawyer Keith Davidson was a “puppet” of President Donald Trump who colluded with Trump’s longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen to shut down reports of the former Apprentice star’s extramarital affairs.

Daniels Accuses Her Former Lawyer Of Colluding With Cohen

The porn star issued the complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court, where she requested copies of communication between Cohen and Davidson. Daniels claims Davidson was involved in the deal that ultimately resulted in her receiving a $130,000 payment before the 2016 election to stay quiet about her 2006 sexual encounter with Trump.

Cohen is being investigated for potential bank fraud and other financial crimes. This week, a review of the documents FBI took from Trump’s lawyer and “fixer” in a series of April 9 raids found that less than one percent of the seized materials — which include financial documents and communications between Cohen and Trump — are privileged. Last week, audio recordings were released of Cohen threatening and insulting reporters and other people who were attempting to uncover stories about Trump’s infidelities and corrupt actions.

Daniels previously sued Cohen and Trump for defamation after they denied her affair with the president more than a decade ago. The porn actress is also claiming the non-disclosure agreement she and Trump reached about their encounter is invalid because he never signed it. Cohen has pleaded the Fifth Amendment in the case.

Michael Avenatti, Daniels’ attorney, has been aggressively criticizing Cohen and Trump — as well as other members of the president’s legal team like Rudy Giuliani — on cable news shows and on social media.

On Wednesday, Avenatti went on Twitter to share a link about Davidson’s communications with Cohen, and slammed Daniels’ former lawyer by calling him a “disgrace to the profession.”

In a separate tweet, Avenatti called Giuliani a “misogynist” for making crude comments about Daniels, and noted that his client passed a lie detector test and that “the American people believe” her.

“She lies for money,” Giuliani recently said of Daniels. “We know she’s a porn star. I don’t know that she’s really a star — I never heard of her, but I don’t know much about porn. I don’t think she was much of a star. I have no confidence in her credibility. She did deny [the affair] took place, in writing.

In January, the celebrity gossip magazine In Touch Weekly published a 2011 interview with Daniels where she recounted her 2006 affair with Trump in explicit detail.

According to Politco, Cohen texted Davidson the same day that interview appeared and claimed he had scheduled Daniels for an interview on Fox News with Sean Hannitya close friend of Trump’s. Hannity was recently revealed to be a secret client of Cohen’s.

Davidson reportedly said the porn star couldn’t appear on Hannity that night and Cohen proceeded to beg Daniels’ then-lawyer to get her to go on the show.
