A Space Force Commander was fired from his position after he criticized the U.S. military by claiming that Marxist ideologies are becoming widespread within the Army.
Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier was speaking on the conservative Steve Gruber Show to promote his new book, Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military, when he made controversial comments.
“Since taking command as a commander about 10 months ago, I saw what I consider fundamentally incompatible and competing narratives of what America was, is, and should be,” Lohmeier said. “That wasn’t just prolific in social media, or throughout the country during this past year, but it was spreading throughout the United States military. And I had recognized those narratives as being Marxist in nature.”
Throughout the conversation, he also stated his concern about diversity training, which he claimed, came from Marxism.

“Our diversity, inclusion and equity industry and the training we’re receiving in the military via that industry are rooted in critical race theory which is rooted in Marxism,” Lohmeier said.
Following his podcast, Lohmeier was immediately removed from his position.
