Sen. Ron Johnson‘s (R-Wisconsin) YouTube channel has been suspended after a video was posted of the lawmaker claiming coronavirus vaccines are unsafe.

Johnson will only face one week of suspension. “Once again Big Tech is censoring the truth,” Johnson responded.

Another person in the video violated YouTube’s policies by stating that vaccines do not prevent death. The FDA states categorically that the vaccines do prevent death.

YouTube prohibits content about the virus that spreads misinformation that contradicts health authorities. The platform allowed a shorter version of the video to stay online.
