Sen. Bernie Sanders Declared Winner Of Nevada Caucuses

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) ha been declared the winner of the Nevada Caucuses. With just 4% of precincts reporting, Sanders had 54% of the vote, followed by former Vice President Joe Biden with 17% and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) with 10%. The networks made their calls based on the exit polls which showed an overwhelming Sanders victory. Final results are next expected until late tonight.

Nevada was considered to be the first test of how Democratic candidates fared with non-white voters who make up a substantial part of the Democratic electorate. The next big test comes in one week with the South Carolina primary, where the electorate is almost two-thirds African-American.
