MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough called on Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar and billionaire Tom Steyer to drop out of the presidential race to “consolidate efforts against Bernie Sanders.“
“People are talking about how as well as she’s done, as good of a campaign she’s run, it is time for her to get out of the race,” he said about Klobuchar. He then turned his attention to Warren, saying, “A lot of people starting to talk about Elizabeth Warren, who finished weak again.”
He continued, “She finished in fourth place in her neighboring home state where she was supposed to win in New Hampshire last week. This week another disappointing finish. She’s maybe in single digits. She’s up to 10 percent now, but she’s in single digits in most of these counts.”
“Is it time for Elizabeth Warren? If she keeps finishing in fourth, fifth place, is it time to her to get out of the race to help consolidate efforts against Bernie Sanders? That’s what a lot of buzz on Twitter suggesting that’s the case,” Scarborough concluded.

Sanders is the leader for the Democratic nomination with 35 delegates. Warren has 8 while Klobuchar has 7. However, there are other candidates, like billionaires Mike Bloomberg and Steyer, who have no delegates.
The network has been accused of being biased against Sanders. Over the weekend, MSNBC host Chris Matthews came under fire for comparing Sanders’ win in Nevada to the Nazi invasion of France. However, others are criticizing Scarborough for asking the only women in the race to drop out to make way for other candidates while there are candidates who are doing much worse than Warren or Klobuchar.
