Sarah Palin Campaigns For Republican Sens. David Perdue & Kelly Loeffler In Georgia Runoffs

Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) campaigned for Georgia Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler ahead of their runoff elections next month, calling on supporters to “crush the vote.”

Palin told a crowd of supporters, “Georgia, we need you to not just show up Jan. 5, not just to win, but to crush it.”

“We need to crush it and to send the message, and to send that message, the loudest message that we can,” she continued. “That no, we will not implement at all socialism in America. We will not watch that erosion of our inalienable rights.”

Palin’s Marietta, Georgia, appearance marked conservative group Club for Growth’s first event of its “Save America Tour,” which was organized to rally support for the GOP senators in their Jan. 5 runoff against Democrats John Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock.

The runoff elections will determine which party controls the Senate. The Republicans currently control the Senate with a 50-48 majority. But if the Democrats win both seats they would reach the majority, and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris would step in casting a tie-breaking vote.

“The eyes of America, the eyes of the world, are on Georgia,” Palin said Friday.
