Notorious rightwing commentator and author Ann Coulter, who previously called President Donald Trump a “blithering idiot” two months ago, is now calling for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) to lose in November.
“Sen. Mitch McConnell is spending millions of dollars on ads in Kansas to defeat the greatest living Republican — because the Chamber of Commerce is afraid Kris Kobach will cut off their supply of cheap foreign labor,” Coulter posted last Friday.
She denounced McConnell’s advertisement spending attacking Kobach, imploring “PLEASE REPUBLICANS, VOTE AGAINST MCCONNELL AND NEVER GIVE HIM ANOTHER DIME.”

Kobach campaign spokeswoman Danedri Herbert told CNN in early July that accusations of Kobach being a white supremacist are “false.”
“Kris Kobach doesn’t have ties to white nationalists, and he never has,” Herbert said, adding that the campaign “immediately severed ties” with an “independent contractor” once it found out he had “posted statements supporting that garbage.”
She continued: “Accusing Kris Kobach of accepting contributions from white nationalists is another false attack that was originally launched by Democrats. Mitch McConnell and his DC cronies should keep their lies and dark money out of the Kansas Senate race.”
Without explicitly praising McConnell’s Democratic challenger, Amy McGrath, Coulter still encouraged Kentuckians to support the Democratic nominee by including the hashtag, #VoteMcGrath, on several tweets attacking the Senate leader.
