Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) confronted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) in the U.S. House chamber Wednesday.
The Democratic congresswoman was leaving House chamber Wednesday afternoon when Greene tried to get her attention by shouting, “Hey Alexandria.”
Greene, screaming, asked Ocasio-Cortez why she supports Antifa, a left-wing activist movement, and Black Lives Matter, which she referred to as “terrorist” groups.
Ocasio-Cortez did not respond to Greene, but only dismissed her comments by throwing hands in the air.

“She’s a chicken. She doesn’t want to debate. I don’t think the debate has been agreed to yet,” Greene told reporters who witnessed the scene.
Following the incident, Greene continued to criticize Ocasio-Cortez on social media.
“I’m glad I ran into you today @AOC to plan our debate about the Green New Deal,” Greene Tweeted.
“After I finish reading all 14 pages, like we agreed, I’ll schedule time for our debate.”
Ocasio-Cortez did not immediately respond, but her spokesperson Lauren Hitt later told The Washington Post that the leadership should take actions “to make Congress a safe, civil place for all Members and staff.”
