Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) has incurred her third fine for going maskless on the House floor.
Greene, who has compared COVID-19 masking rules to the Holocaust, is no stranger to controversy.
But her recent disavowal of the House mask mandate has landed her in particularly hot waters. “I’m taking a stand on the House floor because I don’t want the people to stand alone,” said Greene on Monday.
After lifting the mask mandate in June, the House re-implemented it in July after the emergence of the contagious Delta variant much to Greene’s dismay.
