Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Complains She ‘Works For Free’ Due To House Mask Fines

A video was circulated in which Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) claimed that she “works in Congress for free” to conservative podcaster Alex Jones.

In the undated video, she complained that Congress took money out of her paycheck to cover fines for refusing to wear a mask. Greene said that she was breaking the law to stand “against authoritarian Democratic mandates because I don’t want the American people to stand alone.”

Reports show that Green was fined $48,000 in fines through last November. By January, Greene announced that she had racked up $90,000 in fines that came out of her $174,000 paycheck for rejecting the mask mandate.
