Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Compares Biden’s Vaccine Plan To Nazi ‘Brown Shirts’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) has compared Biden’s plan to use door-to-door workers to reach unvaccinated people to Nazi-era “brown shirts” in a new statement. The tweet comes not long after Greene made offensive comments about the Holocaust last month.

The Sturmabteilung, or brown shirts, were a paramilitary group that facilitated Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in the 1920s and 30s. Their role was primarily to provide protection at Nazi rallies and disrupt opposing parties’ meetings and fighting other paramilitary groups.

This comment comes after Greene compared the federal mask mandate to the beginning of the Holocaust. Greene has since apologized for these comments, even after defending them in some interviews. Greene visited the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. before apologizing to the press.

Greene has now accused the Biden Administration of pushing a non-FDA-approved vaccine. Currently, all COVID vaccines being administered have been approved for “emergency use” by the FDA but have not yet received final approval.

Greene has continued to raise enormous amounts of money for her campaign off of her culture war commentary. Despite being a freshman representative, she has found a strong base of support through her strident comments.

Greene has not apologized for her recent comments.
