On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a strong warning to “traitors” and Russian citizens who have been critical of their county’s invasion of Ukraine.
In the address, Putin said, “Russian people are able to distinguish between true patriots and scum and traitors, and simply spit them out like a fly that flew into their mouths.”
“I am convinced that a natural and necessary self-purification of society will strengthen our country,” he added.
Now, Putin has reportedly had one of his top military officers arrested.
