Virginia’s Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin‘s bus was held up  by protesters holding tiki torches – reminiscent of the white nationalist protesters in Charlottesville. The Charlottesville march ended up in the death of one counter-protester when she was hit by the car of a white nationalist.

Youngkin is in a tight battle against Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the Nov. 2 election.

The protesters were from the Lincoln Project, which was highlighting former President Donald Trump‘s support of the white nationalists in Charlottesville. Youngkin has been endorsed by Trump. The former president plans to speak at a rally for Youngkin today.
