Doug Mastriano, who just won the Republican primary to run for Pennsylvania governor, voiced willingness to cooperate with the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack.
The Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate was in attendance at Trump’s “Stop the Steal” rally prior to the Capitol breach. He even paid to us bus Trump supporters to the rally.
He provided the committee with documents and said that he would sit for a voluntary interview. The brunt of the documents were reportedly social media posts, but also included receipts from the busses used to carry Trump supporters that Mastriano’s campaign had paid for.
Mastriano, a current state senator, was subpoenaed in February over alleged involvement in a scheme to name “alternate electors” in battleground states to swing the 2020 election in former President Donald Trump‘s favor.
