Former Vice President Mike Pence was booed and taunted with calls of “traitor” during a conservative Christian conference Friday as he spoke about prospects of Republicans winning Congress back.
“It is great to be back with so many patriots dedicated to faith and freedom and the road to the majority,” Pence said as he started his speech at Faith & Freedom Coalition summit.
Shortly after, some of the attendees at the event began to yell “traitor” and booed Pence, while others supported him with cheer.
“I’m a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican in that order,” Pence continued, despite the boos.
