Nikki Haley Says Biden Won’t ‘Make It’ Through A Second Term

Former United Nations Ambassador and Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley told Fox News that President Joe Biden is not likely to live until 86 after he announced his reelection campaign on Tuesday.

“I think that we can all be very clear and say with a matter of fact that if you vote for Joe Biden you really are counting on a President Harris, because the idea that he would make it until 86 years old is not something that I think is likely,” said Haley, who has barely made a dent in Republican primary polls.

Haley was the first official candidate to challenge former President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination, and has centered her campaign on the notion of “generational change.”

She has called for “mental competency tests” for all political candidates over 75 years old—a policy that would target both Trump and Biden who are 76 and 80 respectively.

Haley has avoided aggressively calling out Trump so far, a testament to his hold over the Republican Party.

“I don’t kick sideways, I’m kicking forward,” Haley said oddly in February to Fox host Sean Hannity of her competition with Trump.

Other candidates who have officially announced their candidacies for the Republican nomination in 2024 include conservative media personality Larry Elder, Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, “quality guru” businessman Perry Johnson and “anti-woke” businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.

The most high-profile expected candidates are Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence.

Trump continues to dominate Republican primary polling, and DeSantis is widely considered the only viable competitor for the nomination.

Biden is expected to cruise through the Democratic primary and handily defeat self-help author Marianne Williamson and environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Biden has announced that Kamala Harris will retain her position on the Democratic ticket.
