Trump Adviser Jason Miller Says Giuliani Was Drunk When He Told Trump To Declare Victory On Election Night

Jason Miller, Donald Trump’s former campaign adviser, told the Jan 6 Committee that he believed Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani was intoxicated on election night. As Giuliani tried to talk to then-President Trump, Miller described hearing what he deemed reckless rhetoric from Trump’s lawyer.

“There were suggestions by, I believe it was Mayor Giuliani, to go and declare victory and say that we won it outright,” Miller stated.

Miller further said that he was trying to gain an audience with Trump as election results were coming in.

“I think the mayor was definitely intoxicated, but I do not know his level of intoxication when he spoke with the president, for example,” Miller said.

The next morning, following the talk with his team and Giuliani, Trump told his supporters that the election was a “fraud” and went on a tirade against the election results.

“We’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court; we want all voting to stop,” he said in his remarks. “We don’t want them to find any ballots at 4 o’clock in the morning and add them to the list.”
