A new official website, 45office.com, celebrating former President Donald Trump and his third wife Melania Trump went live on Monday night largely rewriting the history of Trump’s time in the White House, as well as omitting his several scandals and notable failures.
The personal bio page for Trump calls his presidency “the most extraordinary political movement in history, dethroning political dynasties, defeating the Washington Establishment, and becoming the first true outsider elected as President of the United States.”
The website then goes on to claim, “President Trump ushered in a period of unprecedented economic growth, job creation, soaring wages, and booming incomes,” echoing widely debunked claims and omitting enormous economic losses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a website that proudly lists several of Trump’s “firsts” as president, it omits that Trump is the first president to be impeached twice and banned from both Twitter and Facebook.

The website then claims that, “When the coronavirus plague arrived from China, afflicting every nation around the globe, President Trump acted early and decisively to ban travel from China and Europe, which saved countless lives.” This claim has been widely disproven as Trump’s ban both came after a majority of international airlines closed travel to China and only temporarily barred foreign nationals from entering the United States and did not stop U.S. citizens or their families from entering the country. Since COVID-19 symptoms can appear as late as a week after contraction, the travel ban is not as air-tight, nor “life-saving” as Trump’s website claims.
