On top of replacing many of the policy decisions of the previous administration, the Biden White House updated the Whitehouse.gov website with another secret message in the page’s HTML code.
“If you’re reading this, we need your help building back better” is the message snugly hidden between lines of innocuous web code, followed by a link to the U.S. Digital Services’ website.
The message is an active recruitment message for the U.S.’s Digital Services department.
This is not the first Biden hidden message, as the original Biden presidential campaign website has its own secret message in the web code. Above the link to purchase a “Biden”-adorned face mask, the phrase “wear a mask” is hidden in the web code.

The White House website also displays a new visible message saying “commitment to accessibility for all begins with this site and our efforts to ensure all functionality and all content is accessible to all Americans.” The statement continues, “These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.”
