House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) was blunt on MSNBC Friday when talking of Attorney General William Barr. She accused him of having “gone rogue” in trying to protect President Donald Trump. Pelosi trashed Barr for trying to “cover-up” Trump’s controversial call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In the phone call, Trump tried to pressure Zelensky into investigating former Vice President Joe Biden by using military aid to Ukraine as a bargaining chip.

Pelosi excoriated Barr for trying to suppress the whistleblower complaint which was reviewed by the Department of Justice before being made public.

Pelosi, who initially expressed hesitation in launching an impeachment investigation into Trump after the Mueller Report, in contrast to her fiery liberal colleagues like Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York), is now moving ahead full steam.
