My Pillow CEO and avid Trump supporter Mike Lindell said on Tuesday that the FBI served him with a subpoena and that he had to turn his phone over to them as he was going through a Hardee’s drive-through in Minnesota.
“Cars pulled up in front of us, to the side of us, and behind us and I said those are either bad guys or the FBI,” Lindell said on his show, the Lindell Report. “Well, it turns out they were the FBI.”
The FBI sought information about Tina Peters, a Colorado election official who is currently being investigated for possible tampering with 2020 election voting machines. Lindell supported her reelection campaign, but after the probe gained momentum up, she was removed from office in May.

Lindell said he initially assumed the subpoena was in relation to the multiple January 6. investigations, but that after hearing the officer’s requests and consulting with his attorney, he agreed to hand his phone over to the agents.
“I said, ‘Come on, bring me to January 6. I want to be part of that show’,” he said recounting the exchange. “They thought they were there to intimidate me. They won’t intimidate me.”
“I want to say this for the record, they were pretty nice guys. None of them had an attitude,” Lindell added.
The FBI confirmed the meeting and a search warrant issued by a judge but did not provide any further details.
