President Donald Trump, who changed his home state from New York to Florida in 2019, is expected to move into his Palm Beach clubhouse on Wednesday after his term is over.
On Tuesday, local news cameras captured several moving trucks arriving at Trump’s South Florida golf club, Mar-a-Lago. WPTV of West Palm Beach, Florida also notes heavy security on the nearby shores, and in the air above the club.
Residents of Palm Beach living near the Trump club were sent letters from their police chief and town manager saying that roads will be closed around Mar-a-Lago for “several days” after Trump arrives.
The road closures are due to begin at 8 p.m., according to the Town of Palm Beach official Twitter account.
