This week, former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen spoke with adult film star Stormy Daniels for the first time since Cohen paid Daniels a hush-money in 2016 for her silence on an alleged affair with former President Donald Trump. Daniels was a guest on Cohen’s podcast Mea Culpa, which he records while on house arrest in Manhattan.
“Both of our stories will be forever linked with Donald Trump, but also with one another,” said Cohen. He then apologized for causing Daniels “needless pain” throughout the 2018 scandal. “Thanks for giving me a second chance,” said Cohen.
“My battle is just now starting,” Daniels then told Cohen. “People are really upset, and they’re just going to get more pissed off at me.” After her controversy, Daniels wrote a book and had a cross-country tour at strip clubs. Daniels said that after Trump denied the affair, and she sued him for defamation, she received hundreds of threats from the former president’s supporters.
“I’ve already lost everything,” Daniels said. “So I’m taking it all the way.”
