Debra Meadows, former White House chief of staff Mark Meadow‘s wife, reportedly signed multiple voter forms listing a North Carolina address that the couple never resided at.
She listed the false information on two forms – a voter registration form and a one-stop application form, despite residential address requirements including a “where you physically live” clarification. The state also requires that a person lives at the address for at least 30 days before the election. On both forms, a P.O. box 70 miles away from the resident was listed as the mailing address. The forms were signed “under penalty of perjury,” and designates the fraudulent or false completion of the form as a Class I felony.
The news comes after last week’s confirmation from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation that they would be opening an investigation into Mark Meadows for potential voter fraud after reports surfaced earlier this month that he had also listed his physical address at the Scaly Mountain mobile home in Macon County, North Carolina, during the time he was serving as chief of staff for former President Donald Trump‘s administration in Washington, D.C.
So far, Meadows is not under investigation.

“We are early into the investigation,” said Anjanette Grube, the North Carolina State Board of Election’s public information director. “As the investigation continues, information will be shared with the prosecutor who will make a determination as to whether any additional persons could be subject to the investigation.”
Six months prior to listing the reportedly fraudulent address, the couple had sold their house in Sapphire, North Carolina.
