Former Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson denied any possibility of running as a third party candidate this election, said she wouldn’t risk taking votes away from the Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
“I do feel the American political conversation should involve more than just Democrats and Republicans or even Conservatives and Liberals,” she told Bold TV. “However, this is a different time and given this president, not because he’s a Conservative—which actually I don’t think he is—but given his performance, his policies, and his falsehoods, I would not risk sending ten votes away from a candidate with a good chance of defeating him.”
“I think that this whole issue of the parties is like two broken legs and two broken arms, but what we’re facing now is more like a bullet close to the heart.”
In addition to that, her recent interview with Fox News also shows her eagerness to help Biden win the race against President Donald Trump.

“I will get behind whoever the Democrat is, of course I will. I’m running as a Democrat,” Williamson said. “I am a Democrat.”

However, Williamson also criticized Biden’s acceptance speech at Democratic National Convention, claimed that he didn’t really suggest any actual policies.
“[Biden’s speech had] Beautiful pictures of POC and reference to BLM, but no actual policy on how to end systemic racism,” she tweeted. “Touching homage to COVID victims and responders, but no actual policy on providing universal healthcare. No policy, period. Except for Bernie.”
