Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) secured his re-election, defeating Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison.
The Associated Press called the race shortly before 10 p.m. EST. With 53% of precincts reporting, Graham had won 55.7% of the vote, and Harrison 42.9%.
The Senate Judiciary Chairman may have gotten a boost following the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court
“How do you say yes? Yes,” Graham said before the election, when asked if Barrett helped him in the final weeks. “I feel good about it.”

Harrison delivered his concession speech around 10:30 p.m. EST saying, “We did something incredible here in South Carolina, folks.”
“We proved that public office is not a lifetime job and that people are willing to hold our leaders accountable,” he said, later adding, “we proved that a new South is rising.”
“Tonight only slowed us down,” Harrison said. “But a new South with leaders who reflect the community and serve the interests of everyone will be here soon enough.”
