Lauren Boebert Appears To Spew Profanities At MTG During Speaker Vote

The contentious House speaker vote has widened the gap between two of the GOP’s most outspoken representatives: Marjorie Taylor Greene (Georgia), who supported Kevin McCarthy‘s (R-California) bid for the speaker’s gavel, and Lauren Boebert (Colorado) who was a part of the hardliner group of conservatives to cause the need for 15 rounds of voting.

A tense moment between the two was caught on C-Span cameras following the 14th round of voting.

“You need to stop,” Greene told Boebert, to which Boebert appeared to respond, “Get the f— out of my face,” according to some reports.

While the video did not capture audio, lip readers guessed that profanities were said.

This marks another public lashing out between the two conservatives over the support of McCarthy for speaker.

Last month, Greene accused Boebert of taking her and former President Donald Trump‘s support and donations, yet refusing to support them back.

Greene added that “[Boebert] childishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bite.”

Both Greene and Trump were outspoken in their support for McCarthy who was finally able to secure the House speaker role after 15 rounds of voting and a number of substantial concessions to the group of hardliners to gain their votes.

Boebert responded last month by calling out Boebert for her numerous gaffes and emphasizing their differences.

“I’ve been aligned with Marjorie and accused of believing a lot of the things that she believes in,” Boebert said at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference. “I don’t believe in this, just like I don’t believe in Jewish space lasers.”

She referred to a conspiracy that Greene furthered in 2018 in which she credited “Jewish space lasers” in connection with the Rothschilds, a prominent Jewish banking family, for causing the California wildfires. She later noted that at the time she was unaware the Rothschilds were Jewish and that the theory was antisemitic.
