Kamala Harris Sells San Francisco Apartment For $799,000
Vice President Kamala Harris is gearing up to sell her San Francisco apartment, listing the property on Zillow for $799,000. Anne Herrera, a listing agent for Sotheby’s International Realty, has confirmed that the apartment is in contract.
The 1,069-square-foot apartment, located in San Francisco’s SOMA neighborhood, sits at the top of a boutique building. The property’s main selling points include high ceilings, a home office, an outdoor space and a walk-in closet. The apartment is just a mile’s walk away from the San Francisco Superior Court House.
Harris originally purchased the property in 2004 for $489,000. In that same year, Harris began her tenure at California’s first African-American district attorney.
In addition to this unit, Harris owns an apartment in Washington, D.C., as well as a home in Brentwood, California. The vice president currently resides in the Blair House, just across the street from the White House. The U.S. Naval Observatory, a space, which normally houses the vice president, is currently undergoing renovations.
