John Bolton Will Publish Tell-All Book June 23, With Or Without White House Approval

Former Trump national security adviser John Bolton is planning on publishing his tell-all memoir on June 23, regardless of whether or not the White House approves its publication.

The Trump administration has previously argued that parts of Bolton’s The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir, include classified information and has not yet given it the go-ahead.

The book was originally scheduled to be released in March, but was postponed after the National Security Council refused to clear its publication.

Bolton discusses direct conversations he had with the president, including that he was asked to pressure Ukraine into providing damaging information about former Vice President Joe Biden and his family — the controversy that caused his impeachment.

The book’s publishers, Simon & Schuster, plan to move forward with publication despite any barriers from the White House. Bolton has even scheduled network interviews to promote his book.
