Ivanka Trump will not challenge Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) for his U.S. Senate seat in 2022 after much speculation that she might when she move to the Sunshine State in January.

“Marco did speak with Ivanka a few weeks ago. Ivanka offered her support for Marco’s reelection. They had a great talk,” said Nick Iacovella, a spokesman for Rubio told the New York Times.

Iacovella’s statement comes after speculation over a potential future Senate bid by Trump. Rubio’s office apparently requested that Trump not address rumors about her potential political career before hosting an event with Rubio in April.

Though rumors surrounding the political ambitions of former President Donald Trump‘s children have been swirling about for quite some time now, none of them have officially announced plans to run for office.
