Ivanka Trump & Jared Kushner Defy Stay-At-Home Orders To Travel To Vacation Home In N.J.

Ivanka Trump, President Donald Trump‘s oldest daughter, breached nonessential travel guidelines and celebrated the first night of Passover at the Trump National Golf Club last week. The trip contradicted advice that she, as a White House senior adviser, urged the public to follow. It also went against the stay-at-home orders put in place by the family’s home city of Washington D.C.

On Thursday, a White House press officer confirmed that Ivanka, her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children drove to Bedminster, New Jersey, where their family vacation home is located.

The immediate family members celebrated the Jewish holiday in the comfort of the of their vacation  home.

The decision to go to the sprawling 600-acre grounds of the Trump Resort is in conflict with New Jersey Gov. Phillip Murphy‘s orders. Last month, Murphy told state residents with second-homes not to go to them. The governor directed the order to those who had summer properties on the shore.
