On Wednesday, President Joe Biden supported the Israeli government’s claims that it was not responsible for the fatal explosion at a hospital in Gaza that killed over 500 people on Monday.
Biden announced an agreement with Israel to authorize aid for the besieged strip.
The agreement will provide resources to two million Gaza residents, who are currently struggling without food, water and power.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel stated that supplies of food, water and medicine will be permitted to enter from Egypt to the citizens in southern Gaza.

The prime minister stated, “Any provisions that reach Hamas will be thwarted.”
Biden’s announcement of aid was made in a speech in Tel Aviv. He said the United States stands with Israel in a war against Hamas and argued that Islamist militants are hurting the Palestinian people.
“I come to Israel with a simple message: You are not alone,” he said.
The Gazan health ministry said the hospital blast killed hundreds of victims. Most of the citizens were seeking shelter at the hospital due to the daily bombings by Israel after the terrorist attack by Hamas militants on Israel last week killed over 1200 people.
Biden also supported Israel’s claims that it was not responsible for the bombing.
“Based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you,” said Biden.
